“After a long consideration and the evaluation of the existing condition we girded up our loins! It was not hard after being inspired by the surroundings. When designing the interior for this small holiday apartment, we tried to create a relaxing residential environment that invites us to hang out and at the same time provides us with the equally beautiful residential environment, when we return from the picturesque beach.
The make-over of this apartment included a constructional change of the functional ground plan, new furnishing and a new lightning design.
From the joint anteroom we enter a smaller living room intended for reading and watching TV. Between the living room and the kitchen there are some closets under the stairs, where we can store wardrobe or other equipment. A small bathroom is also hidden in this area.
But we can only experience the essence of living in this apartment when we enter the kitchen, which is being illuminated by the fantastic south-west sun. Because of such a good natural illumination, the most natural choice for the color of furniture and walls was white. In the less illuminated areas we decided to use pastel blue, which additionally enhances the feeling of brightness. As a combination we decided to use accessories in a sandy color and stone wall cladding. The inspiration for all of the chosen structures and colors – blue, sandy color, wood and stone – come from the nature that surrounds us at the sea. As a finishing touch we chose a few thematic accessories.
On the first floor there are two smaller bedrooms painted in white for a comfortable sleep in the warm summer nights.”
