Ocean Deck House is a project designed by Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects. This ocean front residence captures the sense of indoor-outdoor living by introducing large cantilevered decks and roof decks. Designed for an active family who loves to cook and entertain, the ability to do so on each level is a driving element. Photography by Matthew Carbone.
Beyond is a contemporary setting for life and art, where the full comfort of a modern home is potently married to an elemental architecture drawn from its dramatic setting. Perched on the shoulders of Lion’s Head, the home, designed by SAOTA, springs from a steep hillside that drops off to the famous sequence of Clifton’s white beaches to the Twelve Apostles beyond.
Barber’s Club consists in the evolution of a traditional barbershop concept, perpetuated by a lineage of barbers, dated from 1929. Located at the very centre of Palma de Mallorca, the project has been designed by Minimal Studio as if it were a traditional razor, inspired by the softness of the handle and the cold steel of the blade. A perfect balance between delicacy and rawness. Photography by Art Sanchez photography.
WHITE BOX is a compact private house located on Taweewattana road, Bangkok, Thailand in the gated-residential community. The WHITE BOX owner bought one plot of land next to their own parent’s house in this community. The community is nothing new, all the houses are designed in the same fashion by copy and paste with bad ventilation and similar look for all house types. Thus, the owner asked Ayutt and Associates design (AAd) to design their dream house instead of buying the standard house from the developer.
“Guillaume Alan signs this apartment in harmony with the finest tradition of French design and décorateurs ensembliers: he signed the architecture, the interior design, the pieces of furniture (everything is custom-made and drawn out) and selection of pieces of art.”
