The clients of Uncle Young came to us with a request to refresh the nineties fit out of their tight Fitzroy terrace. With a reshuffle of the existing floor plan, we were able to create an additional bedroom and bathroom, and open the kitchen to the living spaces. Emphasis was placed on the existing courtyard in the reshuffle, making it a central part of the home. The use of natural materials and light, generous spaces, reflects the clients’ Scandinavian roots and enlivens the old areas for a greater sense of spaciousness.
