Heritage House is a project designed by Embrace Architects. The project involved the restoration of a two storey, late 19th Century Victorian Italianate home for a young professional and his family. Careful attention was given to restore, and accentuate, the considerable qualities of the existing building, whilst simultaneously upgrading the structure for the 21st Century through a number of small additions and interventions. Internally, the interiors are sympathetic to existing building whilst, at the same time, clearly delineating between the existing and the new. Photography by Timothy Kaye and Shannon McGrath.
