Cottesloe House by Form Homes

Cottesloe House is a project designed by Form Homes. “Our brief was to develop a renovation design for a small 1990’s brick and tile family home creating new spaces but retaining the original home where possible. Photography by Thom Perry.

.

Our solution was simple – remove the roof and add a new bedroom wing above the existing brick shell converting the entire ground level into communal family spaces.

The additions were constructed using a prefabricated Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) system which sped up construction and achieved an outstanding thermal rating. The resulting home has a series of highly connected indoor and outdoor spaces allowing the growing family space for their future.

United worked closely with the builder to develop a highly bespoke home.”
