The project designed by c.dd is nestled beside Green Island Lake, a 1,500-mu (approximately 100-hectare) ecological gem in the heart of Foshan City, Guangdong, China. Adhering to the philosophy of “Limited yet Boundless,” design studio c.dd captures the essence of life, creating an enduringly vibrant living space. The design blends tranquility with nature, achieving a balance between physical functionality and spiritual serenity, elevating the living experience to new heights. Within the lake area, trees like camphor, maple, and banyan flourish at varying heights. At the center of the lake lies a “heart-shaped island,” home to thousands of rare herons. In the mornings and evenings, these birds take flight in unison, filling the sky with a mesmerizing dance of wings, creating a scene reminiscent of a “paradise of birds.”

Longing for a life close to nature, the client chose to settle by the lakeside, embracing a peaceful lifestyle and reconnecting with the natural world.
