Oak Forest is a project designed by AODA Design. While getting to know the clients and discussing their needs, we deeply felt the warmth of their family and the intimacy of their lifestyle. They also strongly appreciate the richness that diverse colors bring to daily life, which inspired us to create a vibrant and engaging environment. As a result, we used warm wood veneer as the foundation for the overall material and color scheme, incorporating a deep emerald green that resonates with their love for nature. In the details, we selected stainless steel with a metallic luster, adding visual highlights and layers to the space while showcasing a harmonious blend of local Taiwanese characteristics with modern design elements. In Taiwan’s city center, new homes often feature smaller interior spaces, which can make it challenging to integrate functionality with design within such limits. To achieve this goal, we cleverly combined the TV wall with kitchen appliances for dual use, creating an open layout that enhances the sense of space. This design allows the family to interact seamlessly, enabling them to see and engage with one another while still enjoying their comfortable personal areas. Ultimately, this design approach presents a warm and vibrant home environment that caters to the family’s lifestyle and preferences.
