The project is a villa located in the coastal city of Shantou. The local fruit and vegetable market is always bustling from 1 am to 5 am. While most people are sleeping soundly, the villa’s owners are busy in the market, living a life upside down day and night. For this project, AD ARCHITECTURE intended to create a healing “harbor”, a cozy home full of love. The home is expected to slow down the fast-paced life of the family, and to be a container of cheers and laughter. At the moment when the owners open the door, their tiredness will be suddenly relived. Photography by Ouyang Yun.
L Apartment designed by AD ARCHITECTURE is the home of a post-90s online streamer and his trendy mother. Located on the east coast of Shantou City, it embraces the beautiful view of river and sea. A Minimalist Geometric Home is a project designed by AD ARCHITECTURE. Situated at the CBD of Shantou, this single-storey luxury residence embraces the river view outside. Spanning 300 square meters, the space is like a piece of white curtain, which opens up a free field for people to experience.
The project is a retrofitted apartment located in Houhai Area, Shenzhen, China. The original space reflected the client’s affection for Chinese-style design and wooden furniture. As approaching the project, AD ARCHITECTURE intended to break through the traditional design aesthetics and the sense of massiveness. Photography by Ouyang Yun
The project by designed by AD ARCHITECTURE is an apartment located in Shantou, Guangdong Province, China, designed for a pilot–stewardess couple. Most of the time, there are only two places that they seem to be associated with: airport and home. They have to work under great pressure and stay quite concentrated during the flight, and it is often late at night when they come back home. Considering these factors, AD ARCHITECTURE, the design studio, aimed to create a tailor-made residence for the couple where they can slow down the pace of life. Photography by Ouyang Yun
