Cape Town-based studio SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects has completed the Plett 6541+2 project in 2010. A seaside home in Plettenberg Bay. A penthouse floats over the main building enjoying 360° views. Generous indoor / outdoor living spaces and landscaped terraces have elevated garden living to the upper levels.

Chalet K2 in Courchevel, France.

The exclusive chalets provide the perfect balance between tradition and modern functionality. They enjoy the luxury of the highest quality finishes and unique unconventional equipment and services. Large bay windows brighten the interior and there are wide terraces on several levels for relaxation.  Each chalet has a spacious living room with a fireplace, a contemporary dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge area includes a home cinema and bar.  Every chalet has 5 or 6 bedrooms with dressing rooms. The elegant bathrooms are architectural masterpieces in glass, chrome and Zimbabwean black stone. An iPad, iPod station and LED-screen TV complete the picture of perfection.

The work of the Florence architects studio q-bic called pallets loft is a renovation of the attic space of a nineteenth century industrial building, situated on the edge of the historic centre of Florence. The space of 180 square meters, has a multi-purpose destination for hosting small events and parties but also acts as temporary accommodation for guests.

Private Villa By Marco Piva, Como.

The project of this villa, situated in the suggestive location of Como Lake (Italy), consisted of the internal and external renovation of the lot and its interior design. The construction was really degraded, completely abandoned. The concept design was developed thinking of a contemporary style and seeking for alternatives to guarantee that the project is developed according to client’s requests and objectives of a villa with and oppulent atmosphere, confort, tranquility. The aim of this concept design is the harmonization between residence and nature.The key element of the project has been to develop a continuity between the formal structure and its framework, privileging light colors and natural materials in harmony with the surrounding green areas, for a pleasant, cozy and elegant global scene. London-based architecture and luxury interior design practice Lawson Robb have completed the Knightsbridge townhouse project. Completed in 2012, the property can be found in the affluent neighbourhood of Knightsbridge, home of luxury department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols in London, United Kingdom.

Ceramic House in Madrid By HECTOR RUIZ-VELAZQUEZ.

Located in Madrid-Spain, this is an amazing attic space conversion of an early 20th Century building. It is a creation of Spanish Architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez, and he designed it as a three-dimensional object you can move arround at different heights going up and down freely across the numerous levels.
