A 1950’s Austin Ranch Gets a Cool Midcentury Makeover by Furman + Keli Architects and Mark Ashby Design in Austin. Both collaborated on the renovation of this 1950’s era ranch house. The original structure was a classic mid-century affair – typical for this west Austin neighborhood. The design team re-imagined it into modern home but kept the mid-century swank and allure. The Classic Revival by Mark Ashby Design

Austin designer Anne Grandinetti of prominent firm, Mark Ashby Design, calls this home “The Classic Revival.” The traditional style home was built in the 1930’s. Classic architecture, pocket doors, and 80 year old moldings led the direction in the classic and elegant interior design.
