We want to change the perception of familiar and conventional understanding of housing on users in today’s Turkey. We have tried to build a foundation from nature and user’s basic comfort needs.
The house has a common living area with four brother with their families use. We thought the combination of the two space bodies with different functions depending on the light and location on this structure-living spaces scenario.
We positioned the most light is need spaces such as saloon kitchen on ground floor and resting and sleeping areas on upstairs. We designed to combine high hall and the saloon with stairs.
All the structure positioned to receive the optimum day light throughout the day due to the seasonal angle of the sun. Light control provided by semi mobile precast walls and motorized curtains.
Landscape design was created to provide users direct contact with garden in two stage floors.
The upper level host the recreation pool in modern garden design, lower level host the fruit and vegetable gardens for user to experience the nature.”
