Residence LL designed by Atelier About Architecture is a multi-story residence located in the southwestern region of China, overlooking a beautiful, expansive lakeside view, with a building area of approximately 500 square meters, representing a residential landmark in the local urban landscape. 485 MetaGalaxy is a designer cluster label dedicated to pushing the boundaries of design and leading future design trends. It unites design elites from various fields including architecture, interior design, art, and technology. The concept originated from Yuhe Lightyear’s office at 485 Fenglin Road, with the new office space aiming to foster an open and inclusive environment for communication and innovation, facilitate dialogue among designers, and promote the development of a cross-professional design ecosystem.
A House of Light is a project designed by LQS Architects. Mr. Zhang, an alumnus of Tongji University, holds a deep passion for architecture and a vision to reimagine rural architecture in his hometown. Located in Jinshan, on the outskirts of Shanghai, his village’s buildings features a monotonous, outdated style, especially compared to the modernized rural structures just across the road in Zhejiang. Mr. Zhang approached us with a desire to create a distinctive, modern home—one that could show his villagers that houses can have diverse appearances and contribute, even in a small way, to transforming the village’s architectural landscape. ARRCC has re-envisioned this home on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard at the foot of Lion’s Head. Their new design retained the existing footprint but remodelled the envelope and the interior to create a flowing, open-plan arrangement connecting the gardens and terraces to panoramic ocean views. Nestled in the small village of South Kelsey, just west of the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds, lies The Old Rectory designed by ID Architecture, a property set within the secluded grouds of approximately 8 acres.. This tranquil haven is framed by two serene ponds, a grassy paddock, a wooded spinney, and sweeping mature gardens that stretch to the north and east, offering a sense of seclusion and maximum privacy. Canada Israel is a project designed by Halel Architecture and Interior Design. Today, more than ever, our homes have the power to influence our mood, productivity, energy, and of course, the interaction between family members. An example of this is the home of a couple in their 30s who immigrated with their children from Canada several years ago and decided to adapt their private home in Israel precisely to the taste, needs, and lifestyle of their family members. For this purpose, they approached the ‘Halel Architecture and Interior Design’ team, who created an elegant, bright, and captivating living environment for them, paying great homage to North American design with an adaptation that fits the here and now. This Windsor Terrace brownstone conversion DESIGNED by Interior Finishes LLC transforms a two-family structure into a single-family residence tailored for a growing family, balancing the home’s historic features with modern functionality. The reconfiguration of the first floor provides a centralized living area and an expansive kitchen, designed to meet the family’s daily needs. Rather than opting for a fully open layout, the space is subtly divided by a floating partition wall that provides a soft boundary between the kitchen/dining area and the living room. Nestled on a steep slope amidst a lush tropical forest, the house in Toque-Toque House was designed to be a simple, flexible, and easy-to-build construction and serve as a summer residence on São Sebastião, on São Paulo’s coast. Britt White Studio transforms an original 1980s apartment into a serene, functional mountain retreat. Perched in the heart of Mt Hotham village, a Lawlers Apartment has undergone a dramatic transformation, turning an untouched 1980s property into a cosy and sophisticated alpine haven. Britt White Studio’s Scandinavian and mid-century-inspired redesign has reimagined the apartment to create a warm, unpretentious retreat that balances functionality with the client’s vision for a peaceful post-ski sanctuary.
