Cabin House by Rusafova-Markulis Architects, PLLC

Cabin House designed by Rusafova-Markulis Architects, PLLC is situated on a wooded suburban lot in Asheville NC. It was designed for a couple who moved to the mountains from a big city looking for a more relaxed lifestyle, more time outside and daily connection to nature. They wanted to downsize and pair down their possessions to the essentials. That desire for simplicity carried over to the concept for their home. We were asked to provide a cozy, simple shelter in the woods that feels more like a cabin than an every day city home. Being on a budget was another constraint that dictated many of the design decisions. Photography by Ryan Theede, Lissa Gotwals.

Konza by DFG Architetti Associati

DFG Architetti Associati signs a new project of great charm: Konza Ristorante Pizzoleria, in the heart of the historic center of Ragusa. A place where design tells Sicily through a contemporary vision. Warm and enveloping colors recall the Sicilian tradition, reinterpreting it with elegance and modernity. The iron structures match perfectly with the textured painted surfaces, creating a strong visual contrast. The White House by MW Architects

The White House is a project designed by MW Architects. At the top of Highgate Hill an old white house faces the entrance to Waterlow Park and overlooks the distant city of London beyond. Its unassuming frontage could be easy to miss, nestled between two much larger more recent buildings on either side and some of the illustrious properties found in the neighbourhood. But behind this little white facade lies a fascinating piece of London history, which MW Architects have gently uncovered and bought back to life. Photography by French & Tye.

Slabin Residence by Christopher Jeffrey Architects

Slabin Residence is a project designed by Christopher Jeffrey Architects. Time had taken its toll on the existing house that was constructed in the 90’s and needed some serious attention. The Client’s had lived there for several years and loved being surrounded by the adjacent farmland and the sense of place it provided. They decided to pursue a project that combined the complete renovation of the existing structure and the addition of a new main bedroom wing. The new pool, patio, pergola, and vegetable garden create a serene environment in the rear of the property. Photography by Chris Foster Photography.
