Studdridge Tiny Courtyard is a project designed by Unagru Architecture Urbanism. Construction was due to start on this house in Parsons Green, London with designs from another architect. The plans were to extend in the basement, at the rear as well as the roof of this Victorian terraced house, however the client was not totally happy with the plans and so approached us to overlook the design aspects of the project. This is not now we normally like to work, but we did reviews the information and proposed a number of alternative design concepts, that were compatible with the structural constraints. Peckham Courtyard is a project designed by Unagru Architecture Urbanism. “We first met the clients several years ago to discuss potential works for the flat they resided in at the time; although that particular project didn’t happen, we established a strong relationship. Since that time they have now moved to a beautiful, traditional end of terrace Victorian house in Camberwell. They still had two cats and one child, but now with a second coming!” Photography by Sara Moiola.
The Boat & Pavilion is a project designed by Unagru Architecture Urbanism for a family of sailors. The clients approached us asking to design the extension of the ground floor and to improve the relationship to the garden. The house had been refurbished with taste about fifteen years earlier, and the clients wanted to retain part of its character. Photography by Ståle Eriksen.
The Colander by Unagru Architecture Urbanism was a traditional Victorian terraced house, with a very long and dark entrance hall, very dark kitchen and dining rooms with hardly any direct light. Photography by Sara Moiola.
