Double Cube House by Carlos Zwick Architekten BDA

Double Cube House by Carlos Zwick Architekten BDA. In the mansion quarter, “Alte Zehlendorfer Villenkolonie” in Kleinmachnow, on the edge of a wild nature reserve, there are two residential cubes, pushed into each other, merged into one unit. Like a ribbon, horizontal larch wood panels stretch across the two upper floors, providing visual cohesion. Photography by Tomek Kwiatosz.

A person planning a house on a meadow above a subterranean lake from the former glacial period has either nerves of steel or not the faintest idea.
