After a succesfull collaboration between i29 interior architects and VMX Architects for social workplace Combiwerk, this is another project where both offices joined forces to seamlessly integrate architecture and interior design. For media agency MediaXplain an industrial building with a compliant bold interior is realised in de Houthavens, at the old Port of Amsterdam.
i29 interior architects designed an office for a leading creative agency in gift products. A new building is designed by Bedau de Brouwer Architects, in collaboration with i29 for the interiors. A four level high building hosts a large showroom, offices, breakout areas, a small cafe and lunch area.
In a former warehouse, i29 interior architects realized this 600 m2 house including 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and a large open living area. A simple material palette of concrete, white walls and rough oak wood matches the industrial space. Custom designed cabinets throughout the house function as both storage as well as separation walls.
i29 interior architects designed the new lobby, meeting area and restaurant for BKR, the Dutch national credit registration center. Dutch citizens visit the center to see their record in relation to mortgages, loans and debts. Our aim was to create a new interior identity that radiates professionalism, accuracy and transparency.
A former rental apartment in de Pijp, Amsterdam is transformed by i29 into a fresh and spacious loft. Originally, the apartment had many rooms and scarce daylight. The main objective was to achieve maximum use of natural light and to create a spatial experience. The interior is executed in a simple material scheme of large oak wall panels, white plastered walls, dark blue furniture pieces and light grey synthetic floors.
Following up the first successful collaboration, the Artist in Residence Room On The Roof in Amsterdam, i29 interior architects now realized the design of restaurant ‘The Kitchen’ for De Bijenkorf Utrecht, a high quality department store offering an extraordinary customer experience. A masterplan by Rijnboutt Architects optimized the complete department store including a new facade and brand new top floor, where the restaurant is positioned.
i29 interior architects designed a pavilion for the dutch magazine Eigen Huis & Interieur during the annual design fair in RAI Amsterdam. With an architectural installation i29 strived to make a spatial experience for the visitors that surprises; an environment that should be discovered step by step.
