House by Paula Carvalho

More than modernizing this house in São Paulo, the architect Paula Carvalho fulfilled the challenge of unifying the house with the neighboring land, transforming the connection into the new family leisure area. “We expanded the kitchen and integrated it with the external area of the house, making the connection with the barbecue and the dining room”, explains Paula.

For the garden, the choice prioritized species that are easy to maintain and resistant. Around the pool, the wall behind the spa, much enjoyed by residents, was humanized with green stretches composed of ferns and other species capable of creating a harmonious ensemble and giving movement to the panel.
