Interior designer Susanna Cots creates a comfortable space and continues to redefine what we think we know about distribution. Visiting this space implies an understanding that the limits between the obvious and the necessary have been fully studied. There is a harmonious circulation throughout, where light is sought from every corner in every room. Photography by Mauricio Fuertes.
Capsule is a project designed by Susanna Cots. The interior design of this small space plays two roles, producing well-being while making the most expansive possible use of the space. The 50-m2 of this apartment in the heart of the Gràcia neighbourhood, in Barcelona, had uneven walls marked by the character acquired over the passing years, which we were inspired to work on while respecting their structure and the wisdom of time.
Dareels store is a project designed by Susanna Cots. The definition provided by neuroscience explains it perfectly: light influences and shapes the circadian rhythms that regulate our mind, our activities and our well-being. If we were not to see sunlight for a long time, the effects on our body would be devastating.
The colour white, the motivation to create a space of well-being for the people who inhabit it and the ability to work on invisible elements so that communication in the family flows imperceptibly are the three aspects at the origin of this interior design by Susanna Cots.
In one of her latest projects, Oxygen, Susanna Cots has designed an ode to magnetically connected nature to access a source of life and tranquillity. This 600 m2 dwelling in the heart of the Empordà region represents a turning point for those who wish to pursue the slow life.
